TITLE: Lebanon TPS Extended to November 27, 2026

WHAT HAPPENED: The U.S. government automatically extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Lebanon. The designation was about to expire on May 27, 2026, but now continues until November 27, 2026.

WHO IT AFFECTS: Lebanese nationals and people without a nationality who last lived in Lebanon, if they currently hold TPS or are eligible under the Lebanon TPS designation.

WHAT TO DO NOW:

- Note the new TPS expiration date: November 27, 2026.

- Check your Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and other TPS-related documents to see their expiration dates.

- Watch for upcoming instructions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about any steps you must take to keep your TPS and work permit valid.

- If you have questions about your personal situation, speak with an immigration attorney.
