Somalia TPS Ends March 17, 2026 — Prepare Now

TITLE: Somalia TPS Ends March 17, 2026 — Prepare Now

WHAT HAPPENED: The U.S. government is ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalia. TPS is a program that lets people from certain countries stay and work in the U.S. when their home country is unsafe. Somalia’s TPS will end on March 17, 2026.

WHO IT AFFECTS: People from Somalia (or those who have no nationality and last lived in Somalia) who currently have TPS under Somalia’s designation.

WHAT TO DO NOW: After March 17, 2026, you will no longer have TPS. Speak with an immigration lawyer now to understand your options before that date. Do not wait.
